I have been helping my clients find rentals for years. It has been so fun to see them earn a monthly cash flow as well as watch their equity grow. One of my clients bought at the low of the market and then used the equity in the home for a business loan to start a gym - which is now highly successful. They still have the rental, which is still giving positive cash flow too - PLUS, there is even more equity now.
I often think I am partial to real estate just because I am a realtor. But again, Americans have shown that real estate is the better investment:
1. Real estate has outranked stocks, savings accounts, and gold as the best long-term investment among Americans for the past 7 years.
2. The belief in the stability of housing as a long-term investment remains strong, despite the many challenges our economy faces today.
3. Real estate is also the only investment you can also live in. That’s a big win!
You can invest in real estate simply as the home you live in or you can also invest in rentals. I personally love both. I love my home and I love my rentals. With rentals, you get both cashflow and equity. So it is a double win!
