I painted my house just over two years ago and now it is out of style!!!! When I painted it, brown and reds were hot. Those colors are now warm, but what are the new HOT colors?
GRAYS!!!! (Both interior and exterior)
One of my personal favorite grays is Kwal Seattle. It’s not blue or purple – it’s just right.
One of my clients did Benjamin Moore Revere Pewter 175% and it looked amazing! I should have taken a picture!
TEAL!!!
Teal is definitely hot. One of the hottest shades of teal is Peacock, which is a darker and richer color. Most of the time teal is an accent color but it looks great anywhere!
WHITES!!!
You can’t go wrong with this neutral. It is stylish as a two or three-tone paint on doors, baseboards or ceilings. But don’t forget, white can brighten a room and make the room feel much larger!
CHOCOLATE AND PURPLE!!!
I can’t do chocolate. It is too dark for me, but lots of people love it. Purple is just starting to come in, so I don’t have any pictures yet but it is a fun new trend!

Teal or purple throw pillows!
A newly refinished antiqued piece of furniture. (I redid the kitchen chairs and the teal chairs look HOT against the red wall.) Just integrate and experiment and HAVE FUN!
